IMARIS Xtensions would not open

Dear Imaris Team,

I am new to the Imaris software and currently setting up all the Xtensions I need.

After having downloaded and copied the Xtensions to the proper folder I can see

the the Xtension in the e.g. Surface-Surface coloc module there but it is

gray and cannot be started. Do I miss something?

I am using MCR 8.4.

Thanks in advance,

Verian

Dear Verian,

if you use the MRC, only extensions which are compiled will work, while for non compiled extensions you would need a full Matlab version. The Surface-Surface coloc extension exist in both versions. Make sure you copied the exe + xml file into the folder (either a new folder or C:\Program Files\Bitplane\Imaris x64 9.2.0\XT\rtmatlab\ ). Make sure that this folder or your newly created folder with the Forum extensions shows up in the Preferences - CustomTools - Extension Folder. Since you probably don't have Matlab installed, you can ignore the folder C:\Program Files\Bitplane\Imaris x64 9.2.0\XT\matlab\ which contains the non compiled extensions. If you lack an installation of Matlab those extensions will be displayed in gray.

If you still can't make the extension work, please contact support at eusupport@bitplane.com

Best regards,

Daniel
